According to a New York Post report, wo men were found dead on separate New York City subway trains within hours of each other early Sunday, prompting NYPD and medical examiner investigations, authorities and law-enforcement sources said.

In the first case, police said a 23-year-old man was discovered unresponsive around 3:30 a.m. on a No. 7 line train at the 42nd Street/Grand Central area in Manhattan.

Several hours later, a second man—believed to be in his 50s—was found dead on a train at Brooklyn’s 36th Street station, with drug paraphernalia nearby, according to sources.

The city medical examiner is expected to conduct autopsies to determine the causes of death in both cases.

The incidents unfolded as New York City endures a severe cold snap that has pushed more homeless New Yorkers into subway stations and trains for shelter, with local reporting citing at least 17 deaths tied to the recent cold.

Fox News contributor Joe Concha commented on the story, taking a jab at Big Apple Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

“What Mamdani is doing (or not doing) should be a national story regarding an unacceptable death toll in New York City due to his inept policy. But it’s not (D),” Concha said.
