Democratic Sen. Chris Coons raised eyebrows throughout Washington Thursday; saying the public harassment of GOP politicians and uncivil behavior surrounding Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination process was “well justified.”
Coons was speaking with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd this week when he was asked to weigh-in on the full-fledged liberal opposition to President Trump’s pick to join the Supreme Court.

“There is a huge amount of passion. Dozens of people were arrested in the course of the hearings… I think that’s well justified because of the level of fear and anxiety,” said Sen. Coons.

BOOKER GOES BERSERK: Cory Says Kavanaugh Supporters ‘COMPLICIT IN EVIL’
Hyper-liberal Senator Cory Booker exploded on those supporting the President’s pick to join the Supreme Court Tuesday; saying those in favor of confirming Brett Kavanaugh are “complicit in evil.”
Booker was speaking alongside fellow Democrats -including Sen. Elizabeth Warren- when he viciously smeared those behind Kavanaugh’s nomination; adding the United States was in a “moral moment.”
“There’s so much at stake here, this has nothing to do with politics, it has to do with who we are as moral leaders… In a moral moment there is no neutral. In a moral moment there are no bystanders. You’re either complicit in evil […] or you’re fighting against it,” said the Senator.
“There’s a saying in the Abrahamic faiths one of the Psalms that says ‘Yea though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death.’ We are walking through the valley of the shadow of death. But that doesn’t say ‘Though I sit in the valley of the shadow of death,’ it doesn’t say, ‘I’m watching on the sidelines of the valley of the shadow of death, it says, ‘I am walking through the valley of the shadow of death,’” he added.
COURT CHAOS: Kavanaugh Hearing Interrupted by Protesters, Dems Call for DELAY
The hearings surrounding President Trump’s nominee to join the Supreme Court descended into chaos Tuesday morning, with liberal protesters chanting “vote no” as Congressional Democrats called for an indefinite postponement.
“Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley was able to deliver his opening statement for just a few seconds before Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris raised objections to the committee just receiving a batch of 42,000 documents relating to the nominee’s work with past administrations,” writes Fox News.
“We cannot possibly move forward,” said Sen. Harris.
Sen. Cory Booker slammed Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley moments later, saying the proceedings violated his “sense of decency.”
“I think you are taking advantage of my decency and my integrity,” Grassley fired-back.
