LET'S BEE FRIENDS: Babylon Bee, Others Jokingly Offer Stelter a Job After CNN Firing

Host Brian Stelter and his show Reliable Sources are no longer part of the CNN family —Stelter was canned after new CEO Chris Licht put hyper-partisan hosts on notice, ultimately resulting in Stelter’s firing.

But that hasn’t stopped the “job offers” from rolling.

According to a report from The Daily Wire Seth Dillon, CEO of the satirical news site The Babylon Bee, offered the ex-CNN host a job Thursday evening, saying he may be the perfect fit for its brand.

“We’re looking for talent with experience putting out funny fake news,” Dillon continued. “You come highly recommended. Shoot me a DM if you’re interested!”

Dillon wasn’t the only one who made Stelter an “offer.” The new King of Late night Greg Gutfeld, perhaps worried about the lack of material with Stelter of CNN, told B.S. his show was hiring.

CNN released a statement on Stelter’s firing.

“CNN will end its Reliable Sources program on Sunday, August 21st,” a spokesperson for the network said in a statement. “As a result Brian Stelter will leave the company. We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors.”
