During Tuesday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity sat down with Senate GOP leaders to discuss President Trump’s agenda and the importance of sticking together to deliver for the American people.
Hannity stressed this is a huge opportunity for the GOP, as Republicans have only held all three branches of government four times in the last 100 years.
What does Senate Majority Leader John Thune think about that? Let Trump cook.
“The stakes are high,” Thun said. “We have to make the most of these two years … to do the things the president campaigned on.”
“We need to secure the border — make a generational investment in doing that. Make sure we’re investing in our national security to take on threats around the world. Avoiding a $4 trillion dollar tax increase and restoring energy dominance,” Thune said.
“And I would add deficit reduction — we have got to cut spending, and that’s a priority for this Senate.”
Tune talks budget negotiations, taxes, Senate priorities, and more.
