Elizabeth Warren doubled-down on the Democrats’ year-long claim that Stacey Abrams is the rightful governor of Georgia; saying the midterm elections reveal how “broken” America’s “democracy” has become.
“Right now, our democracy is broken. How do I know? Because Brian Kemp is sitting in @StaceyAbrams’ chair. And we are all grateful to Stacey for what she’s doing to make sure that never happens again in this country,” posted Warren on social media.

“Voter suppression is just one more relic of Jim Crow, and we need to say so. That’s why I have a plan to strengthen voting in America. It starts with restoring the Voting Rights Act,” she added.
“We all know—and say—the names of those whose lives have been cut short with callous indifference by law enforcement. Let’s honor Aiyana Stanley-Jones, Rekia Boyd, Korryn Gaines, Sandra Bland, and Atatiana Jefferson by reforming our criminal justice system once and for all,” Warren concludes.
BETO BACKS ABRAMS: O’Rourke Says Stacey Abrams Election Was ‘RIGGED’ by GOP
Rapidly fading Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke praised failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams on The View Tuesday; touting her “grace” after the Republican Party “rigged” her 2018 election.
“The grace with which she met that defeat on an unfair, unlevel playing field with the Secretary of State, perhaps rigging in part that election…is inspiring stuff at a time that our democracy is so badly broken,” said Beto.

O’Rourke has repeatedly vowed to “reintroduce” himself to American voters in recent weeks after new polls show his popularity plunging among likely Democratic voters.
CORY’S COMPLAINT: Booker Blames Stacey Abrams’ Midterm Loss on ‘Rampant Voter Suppression’
Potential 2020 Democratic candidate Cory Booker offered another excuse for Stacey Abrams’ failed bid for Governor of Georgia Monday; claiming “rampant voter suppression” was behind her midterm defeat.
“Let me just say something about Stacey Abrams because she’s an old friend. She’s one of the most impressive people I’ve met in the last decade of politics. She’s an amazing person,” said Booker.
“It almost bothers me that—Beto, it’s great that he’s in the race, but I wish he wasn’t the only person that ran a great race in 2018 that’s talked about,” Booker continued. “Here’s an African American woman that but for I think rampant voter suppression going on in Georgia, she would be the candidate, somebody who had a national appeal. She should be talked about as a presidential candidate.”
