In one of the NFL’s stranger Week 3 moments —and possibly the strangest moment all season —Miami Dolphins punter Thomas Morstead accidentally kicked the ball into the rear end of fellow teammate Trent Sherfield; the ball bounced back out of the end zone for a safety.

The botched punt didn’t cost the Dolphins the game, however —the Fins went on to win 21-19. Folks on Twitter immediately began poking fun at the rocket to the rear end.
Former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, notorious for the “Butt Fumble,” had a laugh over the kick.
