GOP Rep. Jim Jordan slammed Congressman Adam Schiff during televised testimony Tuesday; saying “no one believes” the House Intel Chair is unaware of the so-called whistleblower’s identity.
“As I indicated before, this committee will not be used to out the whistleblower,” interrupted Schiff.
“Mr. Chairman, I don’t see how this is outing the whistleblower… He said he doesn’t know who the whistleblower is. You’ve said -even though no one believes you- you don’t know who the whistleblower is. So, how is this outing the whistleblower?

Schiff continued to deny Republican lawmakers access to any information surrounding the Ukraine whistleblower Tuesday; shutting down Devin Nunes’ line of questioning during televised hearings.
“What agency was this individual from?” asked Rep. Devin Nunes.
“If I can interject here. We don’t want to use these proceedings; we need to protect the whistleblower. Please stop. I want to make sure that there’s no effort to out the whistleblower during these hearings,” interrupted Schiff.

DEVELOPING: Jim Jordan Moved to House Intel Committee for Impeachment Inquiry
GOP Rep. Jim Jordan was officially assigned to the House Intelligence Committee this week; the key Democrat-led panel overseeing their latest impeachment inquiry against President Trump.
“House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan has been assigned by Republican leadership to serve on the House Intelligence Committee so he can participate in questioning in the open Trump impeachment hearings starting next week,” reports Fox News.
“Jordan, R-Ohio, replaces Rep. Rick Crawford, R-Ark., who temporarily resigned from his post on the panel Friday,” adds Fox.
“Jim Jordan has been on the front lines in the fight for fairness and truth. His addition will ensure more accountability and transparency in this sham process,” House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy said in a statement on Friday.

JORDAN ON HANNITY: Schiff and Pelosi ‘Making Up the Rules as They Go Along’
Rep. Jim Jordan spoke with Sean Hannity Thursday night on the Democrats’ secret impeachment hearings; saying Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Adam Schiff are “making up the rules” as they go along.
“Another disastrous day for the Democrats. Are we ever going to get the transcripts? More lies told by the leaking Democrats,” said Hannity.
“I do think we’ll get the transcript at some time. Schiff and Pelosi are making the rules up as they go along. It’s a sham process. Hopefully we’ll get the transcripts. When you do this in secret, in the basement of the Capitol, people understand this is a flawed process,” fired-back Jordan.
“Our party has stayed together and we all voted against this,” he added.
