Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wants Trump 2024.
During a recent exclusive interview with Breitbart News Sunday, Jordan said he would support former President Donald Trump’s campaign in 2024; he says the GOP will be better off with Trump as the nominee.
“America is going to be much better off if President Trump is our nominee,” Jordan said on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday with host Joel Pollak, “and if he wins, and that’s what I’m for. I’ve been for that. Since he left on January 20th, I wanted him to run in 2024. I think he’s going to. I think he is the right candidate.”
“I think he’s going to run, and I’m going to do everything I can to help him win,” Jordan added.
“We have never had a president who did more of what he said he would do than President Trump,” he remarked, “and I remember early on, when I was in the White House, they’re in the West Wing in one of the offices. They had a whiteboard on the wall, and literally, they had every single policy and every single promise that President Trump made to the American people in the campaign of 2016 … and they were literally just checking them off as he did them.”
While former President Trump has yet to officially announce, he has strongly suggested he intends to throw his red hat into the ring in 2024, even telling a New York Magazine reporter it’s just a matter of when to make the announcement.
Rep. Jordan also spoke with Fox News about President Biden’s recent attacks on MAGA Republicans; he says Biden has to resort to namecalling because he has nothing to run on.

REP. JIM JORDAN: You got to call your opposition names when you got nothing else to point to. We went from safe streets to record crime. We went from a secure border to no border. We went from $2 gas to $5 gas, and we went from stable prices to record inflation. So call me extreme if I want actually stable prices, affordable energy. If I want to actually have a secure border, call us extreme. I guess that’s what you’re going to do when you got nothing else to talk about. But think about this, in the past four weeks, Joe Biden has raided the home of a former president, taken the phone of a sitting member of Congress, called one half of the country fascist and extremist, said to those same people, ‘Oh, by the way, we’re going to make you pay the student loan debt off of someone else.’ And finally, he signed a bill to unleash 87,000 IRS agents to come harass you, the American taxpayer. Such a deal. So I guess he’s going to call us names after doing those kind of extreme things. He can do that, but I don’t think it sells.
