Former Vice President Joe Biden’s bumbling campaign continued this week; with the Democratic frontrunner making countless mistakes regarding his visit to Afghanistan, his time in the Senate, even his location.
Biden’s defense? “Details are irrelevant.”
“That has nothing to do with judgment of whether or not you send troops to war, the judgment of whether you bring someone home, the judgment of whether you decide on a healthcare policy,” Biden told NPR.
“The details are irrelevant in terms of decision-making,” he added.
The former VP is hoping to reassure weary Democrats in the weeks ahead; telling supporters in New Hampshire he’s “not going nuts.”
“I want to be clear, I’m not going nuts,” Biden said last month, after telling supporters in New Hampshire that he “loves” Vermont.
“I’ve been here a number of times…I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?” Biden told reporters in the Granite State.
