Former Vice President Joe Biden -again- refused to comment on the growing scandal surrounding his son Hunter’s recently released emails; calling the entire controversy just “another smear.”
“I have no response,” said Biden when asked by a CBS News reporter to comment on the New York Post’s story. “Another smear campaign.”
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe weighed-in Monday on the growing scandal surrounding Hunter; saying the material is “not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”
“Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” Ratcliffe said.
“Let me be clear: The intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff, or any member of Congress,” he said.
“It’s funny that some of the people who complain the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing the intelligence,” Ratcliffe said. “Unfortunately, it is Adam Schiff who said the intelligence community believes the Hunter Biden laptop and emails on it are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”
The emails reportedly show Hunter organizing business meetings between his father and Ukrainian energy executives.
“The FBI has had possession of this,” Ratcliffe added. “Without commenting on any investigation that they may or may not have, their investigation is not centered around Russian disinformation and the intelligence community is not playing any role with respect to that.”

BIDEN in NEW HAMPSHIRE: ‘What You Do Here in Iowa is Going to Set the Tone’
Former Vice President Joe Biden left audience members scratching their heads in New Hampshire over the weekend; confusing the northeast state for Iowa -approximately 1,000 miles away.
“The primary race for the United States presidency… You have an incredible obligation, not to me at all, but to yourselves. What you do here in Iowa […] is going to set the tone,” said Biden before correcting himself.
“New Hampshire, the primary in New Hampshire,” he added.

Biden made a similar mistake earlier this year; confusing New Hampshire for the neighboring state of Vermont.
“I’ve been here a number of times…I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?” Biden told reporters.

At some point, the media is going to have to stop calling this "gaffes" https://t.co/Dhno1WN2rU
