JARRETT: Trump-Russia 'Collusion' was Always a HOAX – and Dirtiest Political Trick in Modern US History

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.25.19

Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett weighed-in Monday on Robert Mueller’s final report that showed there was “no collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 election; calling the “hoax” the “dirtiest political trick” in modern American history.

“There was never any evidence that Donald Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election from Hillary Clinton. It was all a hoax. It constituted what is surely the dirtiest political trick in modern American history,” writes Jarrett.

“The hoax was based largely on an anti-Trump ‘dossier’ conjured from the fertile imaginations of two nefarious characters: ex-British spy Christopher Steele; and Fusion GPS Founder, Glenn Simpson,” he adds.

“It was commissioned by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democrats, then peddled all over Washington to journalists, the FBI, the State Department and the Department of Justice. It spread like an airborne contagion in a 50 mile per hour wind. The premise of the ruse was as outlandish as the actions of those who advanced it,” concludes Jarrett.

JARRETT TO ROSENSTEIN: Follow the President's Orders on Classified Docs or LEAVE THE DOJ

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.19.18

President Trump ordered the release of controversial classified documents regarding widespread FISA abuse and political bias at the Department of Justice this week; setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown between the White House and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett drew a line in the sand should Rosenstein defy the President’s demands Tuesday, saying the senior DOJ official should be immediately fired if he moves to block the release of the requested material.

“President Trump has ordered that numerous documents involving the Russia investigation be declassified.  The records have long been sought by Congress under lawful subpoenas.  Yet, the FBI and Department of Justice have consistently obstructed the release of these materials under the guise of ‘classified’ secrets.  This is a convenient alibi all too frequently employed to cover-up wrongdoing and abuse of authority by those we entrust to uphold the law,” writes Jarrett.

“Rosenstein has every reason to suppress the records. They may incriminate him. He affixed his signature to the final renewal of the FISA warrant application to continue spying on Carter Page,” he adds.

JARRETT: An FBI that is Corrupt and Dishonest -- Latest Reports Offer Only More Proof

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.14.19

Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett weighed-in on the ongoing “endemic” of “dishonesty and corruption” at the Department of Justice Monday; saying new evidence shows just how deep the FBI’s “abuse of power” was following the 2016 election.

“The latest proof comes in a New York Times report that the FBI initiated an investigation in May of 2017 into whether President Donald Trump was serving as a covert Russian agent.  The accusation itself was ludicrous on its face.  But from a legal standpoint, the FBI’s probe constituted an egregious abuse of power.  The Bureau had no probable cause, no evidence, and no reasonable suspicions.  They investigated Trump because they could.  They defied the law, ignored or perverted facts, and debased the integrity of a heretofore-respected law enforcement agency,” writes Jarrett.

“Why did these rogue officials commit such an outrageous act of malfeasance? In a word, vengeance.  Already incensed that Trump had defeated their preferred candidate, Hillary Clinton, they grew furious when the president fired Director James Comey on May 9, 2017,” he adds.
