Former President and 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump spoke to the press before entering the courtroom Monday morning for the first day of his trial on fraud charges.
“Are you looking forward to being vindicated,” one reporter asks Trump.
“Yes, I am.”
“This is a continuation of the single greatest witch hunt of all time. We have a rogue judge who rules properties are worth a tiny fraction of what they actually are. We have a racist Attorney General who’s a horror show who ran on the basis that she would ‘Get Trump’ before she knew anything about me.”
“It’s a scam. It’s a sham.”
“It’s an attempt to hurt me in an election,” Trump said. “It’s never happened before.”
