During the most recent episode of Real Time, host Bill Maher strongly encouraged President Joe Biden to step down and resist the urge to seek a second term in the White House.
“Someone has to convince President Biden that if he runs again, he’s going to turn the country back over to Trump and go… down in history as Ruth Bader Biden, the person who doesn’t know when to quit and so does great damage to their party and their country,” Maher said, referring to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“What matters is voters think Biden’s too old. What matters is he’s going to lose to Trump,” he added.

Maher isn’t the only host to openly discuss Biden’s age and its potential downfalls. MSNBC’s Morning Joe discussed it during a recent broadcast, with host Joe Scarborough stressing that everyone off-camera is saying Joe is too old to run.
“Every political discussion… when it comes to Joe Biden, people say, ‘Man, he’s too old to run, isn’t he?’” Scarborough said on air. “When I say every discussion, I don’t mean 99% of the discussion — every discussion.”
