Voters in Franklin County, Ohio complained to their local and state officials Friday after upwards of 50,000 residents received the “wrong absentee ballots” for the 2020 presidential election.

“Nearly 50,000 voters in Franklin County — Ohio’s most populous county — received incorrect absentee ballots in the mail, elections officials said Friday, revealing a major glitch that appeared to affect one in five ballots the county had sent so far,” reports Fox News.

“We want to make it clear that every voter who received an inaccurate ballot will receive a corrected ballot,” the board said in a news release.

“No vote will be counted twice. Every voter will receive an accurate ballot and that ballot will be counted,” county Elections Director Ed Leonard said.

“While this process has taken longer than we’d like, we aren’t just determining a number. We’re determining and identifying each impacted voter,” Leonard said during a press conference Thursday.

JUST IN: Judge Orders New Election in New Jersey After Candidates Charged with Mail-in Voter Fraud

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.20.20

From Fox News:

A judge has ruled that a new election will be held in November for a disputed Paterson City Council seat, just weeks after the race’s apparent winner and a sitting councilman were charged with voter fraud.

State Superior Court Judge Ernest Caposela issued his ruling Wednesday.

Alex Mendez had won a special election on May 12 to fill the seat, but claims of voter fraud were soon raised. An investigation was then launched after the U.S. Postal Service’s law enforcement arm told the state attorney general’s office about hundreds of mail-in ballots located in a mailbox in Paterson, along with more found in nearby Haledon.

President Donald Trump has cited the disputed race as a case study in what could happen in an election conducted mostly by mail. His re-election campaign sued New Jersey on Tuesday in a bid to stop the state’s plans to conduct the November general election mostly by mail.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Mail-In Voting Will Bring ‘Greatest Election Disaster in History’

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.31.20

President Trump warned the nation of the dangers posed by universal mail-in voting Friday; saying the fraud-filled method will likely bring the “greatest election disaster” in American history.

“They think they’re going to send hundreds of millions of ballots all over the United States and it’s gonna come out,” he told reporters at the White House following a huddle with members from the National Association of Police Organizations. “You won’t know the election result for week months, maybe years after. Maybe you’ll never know the election result. That’s what I’m concerned with – it’ll be fixed. It’ll be rigged. People oughta get smart.”

“This is going to be the greatest election disaster in history,” he added. “And by the way, you guys like to talk to about Russia and China and other places? They’ll be able to forge ballots, they’ll forge them. They’ll do whatever they have to do.”

“You’re sending out hundreds of millions of universal mail-in ballots. Hundreds of millions. Where are they going? Who are they being sent to? It’s common sense,” Trump said. “I want an election, and a result, much more than you. I think we’re doing very well. … I don’t want to see a rigged election.”
