Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her demands for the ‘Green New Deal’ on social media over the weekend; saying she wakes up “consumed about climate change” and the issue “really freaks her out.”
“Even while I was on vacation, I woke up in the middle of the night at 3:30 in the morning just consumed about climate change. I’m 29-years-old. I really struggle sometimes with the idea of how to be a policy maker and potentially have a family in the time of climate change,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
“It really freaks me out, and it can be really, really scary… Our glaciers are melting, our sea levels are rising, I’m scared too about the world that I’m going to be living in. I sometimes fear what we’re going to be living with when I’m 40, 50, 60 years old,” she added.

The far-left lawmaker made national headlines last week when she called the Electoral College a “racist scam.”

“Alright everyone, it’s been a minute, we’re coming to you live from the Electoral College… Many votes here as you can see. A very efficient way to choose leadership of the country. I can’t think of any other way, can you?” quipped Ocasio-Cortez on social media.

“Due to severe racial disparities in certain states, the Electoral College effectively weighs white voters over voters of color, as apposed to a ‘one person, one vote’ system where all our votes are counted equally,” she states.
“Could you image if we had this kind democracy-altering ‘fairness’ provision for literally any other group?” she asks. “If we weighed, for example, black and indigenous voters more because of unfairness?”
AOC ERUPTS: Ocasio-Cortez SLAMS Mitch McConnell, Says He ‘Doesn’t Want to Save the Planet’
Embattled Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unloaded on Sen. Mitch McConnell Tuesday; bizarrely suggesting the GOP leader “doesn’t want to save the planet” and will be “drinking oil in 30 years.”
“What McConnell’s doing is that he’s trying to rush this bill to the floor without a hearing… without working through committee — because he doesn’t want to save our planet. Because he thinks we can drink oil in 30 years when all our water is poisoned,” Ocasio-Cortez reportedly said.

AOC EXPLODES: Cortez Says She ‘Doesn’t Care Anymore’, Screams ‘I’m the Boss’ on Climate Change
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued to deflect criticism of her ‘Green New Deal’ over the weekend; repeatedly yelling “I’m the boss” when it comes to climate-change policy and future legislation.
“You know what? I don’t care anymore. Again, I’m at least trying and they’re not. The power is in the person who’s trying regardless of the success. If you’re trying you’ve got all the power,” claimed Cortez.

“I just introduced ‘Green New Deal’ two weeks ago and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried… You try, you do it. Because you’re not. Until you do it, I’m the boss. How about that?” she yelled.
