IT BEGINS: Democrat Calls to ABOLISH ICE Grow Heading into Midterms

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.28.18

More and more Liberal legislators and candidates are calling for the total abolishment of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency; creating a “litmus test” for potential lawmakers heading into the 2018 midterms.

According to Fox News, the Democrats’ renewed calls to limit or eliminate the agency comes as thousands protest the detention of illegal immigrants along the United States’ southern border with Mexico.

“The calls reflect not only the deepening divide between the two partisan poles on immigration — with one side seeking a border wall, and the other looking to dismantle the lead enforcement agency — but the growing influence of the progressive wing,” writes Fox.

“Its extra-judicial nature is baked into the structure of the agency and that is why they are able to get away with black sites at our border, with the separation of children,” said Democrat primary winner Ocasio-Cortez.

IT BEGINS: Dem Introduces Bill to ‘ABOLISH ICE,’ Calls Trump ‘WHITE NATIONALIST’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.27.18

A Democratic congressman introduced legislation to officially “abolish” the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency this week, saying “heartless” ICE agents are “ripping at the moral fabric of our nation.”

Rep Mark. Pocan of Wisconsin sponsored the left-wing bill just days after President Trump signed an executive order ending “family separations” along the US-Mexico border, saying the agency fails to “represent the values” of America.

“ICE is tearing apart families and ripping at the moral fabric of our nation,” said Pocan. “Unfortunately, President Trump and his team of white nationalists, including Stephen Miller, have so misused ICE that the agency can no longer accomplish its goals effectively.”

“The heartless actions of this abused agency do not represent the values of our nation and the U.S. must develop a more humane immigration system, one that treats every person with dignity and respect,” he added.

ON THIN ICE: Dems Consider ABOLISHING IMMIGRATION Enforcement Agency in 2020

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.12.18

Prominent Democrats running for the White House in 2020 are under increasing pressure from left-wing activists to add the abolishment of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (commonly referred to as ICE) to the party’s platform in the next election cycle.

According to Fox News, liberal pundits and demonstrators are increasingly vocal about dismantling the top enforcer of the nation’s immigration laws as a major campaign pledge; urging left-wing lawmakers to “gut” the department should they retake control of the White House.

“ICE operates as an unaccountable deportation force. Dems running in 2020 should campaign on ending the agency in its current form,” said Brian Fallon, a former top aide to 2016 presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

“This is a growing position on the left, and I imagine 2020 Democratic presidential aspirants will have to grapple with it,” added MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.

The President recently threatened to pull ICE agents from the state of California after local officials refused to cooperate with federal agents; saying residents would see “crime like they’ve never seen crime before.”
