A 37-year-old illegal immigrant was sentenced to 80 years behind bars this week after pleading guilty to at least three counts of rape, with a localĀ judge slamming local officials who āignoredā an ICE detainer request back in 2012.
Miguel Luna, a Mexican national, was arrested in Illinois and charged with raping two women running along a state trail.
He admitted attacking another victim in 2016, who has since died.
“The judge said he did not understand why Luna had not been deported in 2012 when a fugitive warrant for his arrest was issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,” writes Fox News.
āYou shouldnāt have been in this country,ā said Judge David Carlson. āThe system let the victims down in this case.ā
āYou were free to do these acts…whether through misguided political correctness or people who do not believe in laws or borders,ā Carlson said. āOne thing I can do with the sentence is show that the laws we believe in here, maybe this wonāt happen again, maybe thatās a little bit of closure.ā

IMMIGRATION INSANITY: Illegal Immigrant, 17, Pleads Guilty to QUADRUPLE MURDER in NY
An MS-13 gang member living in the United States illegally pleaded guilty to a quadruple murder in New York this week; admitting he carried out the vicious killings of four young men on Long Island last April.
āJosue Portillo, 17, but charged as an adult, pleaded guilty in federal court to racketeering charges and for his participation in the April 2017 murders of Justin Llivicura, Michael Lopez Banegas, Jefferson Villalobos and Jorge Tigre in the woods behind a Central Islip, N.Y., soccer field, prosecutors claim. Portillo claims he plotted the killings with other MS-13 gang members over a local dispute; adding he lured his victims into the woods and killed them with machetes and other knives.
āThe Eastern District, together with our partners on the FBI’s Long Island Gang Task Force, will never tire nor relent in our efforts to dismantle MS-13 and bring to justice their members who have no respect for human life,ā U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue said in a statement.

New York Attorney General candidate Zephyr Teachout vowed to āprosecuteā the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency this week; adding she would abolish the ācriminalā department should she be elected.
The potential AG ripped the agency in a newly released video on social media Wednesday, saying the department was āborn out of xenophobiaā in the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
