The POTUS is keeping an eye on the Pretti investigation.
President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday that he is personally keeping an eye on the investigation into the shooting of Alex Pretti — an anti-ICE protester who was shot and killed by agents over the weekend.
Trump commented on the investigation while speaking with reporters on the White House lawn.
“Do you believe that Alex Pretti’s death was justified?” a reporter asked.
“We’re doing a big investigation. I want to see the investigation. I’m going to be watching over it. I want a very honorable and honest investigation. I’ll have to see it myself,” Trump said.

It was recently revealed that Pretti had prior encounters with ICE agents — in one case, he reportedly received a broken rib while interfering with federal agents.
