Border Czar Tom Homan told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Tuesday night that he and President Trump aren’t bluffing about arresting lawmakers who interfere with the administration’s efforts to enforce immigration laws.
Homan was asked to comment on New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver, who was charged with assault after a scuffle with ICE agents outside a detention center. DOJ prosecutors say McIver hit agents trying to make an arrest.
The event was caught on video.
“I don’t bluff,” Homan said. “I said the day after the inauguration, when they started attacking ICE and border patrol and supporting sanctuary cities. I said, ‘You can hate on ICE. You can support sanctuary cities. You can turn a blind eye to ICE taking public safety threats off your streets.’ But you can’t cross that line, Sean … you certainly can’t put hands on an ICE Officer — you will be prosecuted.”
“They’re not above the law either,” Homan continued. “They said President Trump wasn’t above the law, they’re not above the law either.”
McIver’s spat with ICE went viral this week.

A Democrat Congresswoman has been charged with assaulting ICE officers at an ICE facility and is still sitting comfortably on the Homeland Security Committee. You can’t make this up.
