Nazi Germany surrendered to the Allied Forces on May 8th, 1945 just one week after Adolf Hitler’s suicide in a Berlin bunker.
The order was signed by General Jodl; ending the war in Europe that began when Germany invaded Poland in 1939. More than 35 million people perished between 1939 and 1945.
IS HE SERIOUS? Pete Buttigieg Says Fight Against Climate Change 'ON PAR' with WW2, Cold War
Presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg stunned millions of Americans Wednesday night; baselessly asserting that the United States efforts to curb climate change is “on par with winning World War 2.”
Mayor Pete was speaking during CNN’s televised town hall event when he called the fight against global warming the “hardest thing that we will have done in my lifetime.”
“We have to unify the country around this project… This is the hardest thing that we will have done in my lifetime, on par with winning World War 2, perhaps even more challenging than that,” said the Democrat.
This is the most offensive thing said at the CNN Climate town hall:
Buttigieg says fighting climate change is "more challenging than" winning World War II.
Bullshit.
85 million people died in WWII.
500,000 Americans.
He owes every American who lost loved ones in WWII an apology. pic.twitter.com/FfSK3PzM9s— Benny (@bennyjohnson) September 5, 2019
Failing candidate Beto O’Rourke made similar statements during the event, saying West Texas will become “uninhabitable” for human beings in the near future.
“My son Henry, who’s 8-years-old, he asked me, ‘Dad, if you win and you become President, we get to live in El Paso, right?’ I said no, we’d live in Washington, DC. But he knew that our community will become uninhabitable, will not sustain human life along this current trajectory unless something changes,” O’Rourke told the audience.

Sen. Bernie Sanders made similar dire predictions at the event; claiming population growth was a key aspect in fighting global warming.
“Empowering women to curb population growth seems reasonable to enact. Would you be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate catastrophe?” asked an audience member.
“The answer is yes. Women have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions… In poor countries around the world, where women do not want to have large numbers of babies, where they can have the opportunity to use birth control to control the number of kids they have, is something I very strongly support,” said Sanders.
Democrat Voter: There are too many humans on earth.
Bernie: I agree. We need to fund abortions to poor, third world countries.
This is absolutely horrifying. pic.twitter.com/B2SBT053mz

GOHMERT on HANNITY: ‘When it Came Down to Articles of Impeachment, There Was No Crime’
Rep. Louie Gohmert stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to weigh-in on the Democrats’ ongoing impeachment fantasy; saying when push came to shove, their final Articles “included no crime.”
“It is outrageous. You’ve been taking about this for years. What gets me, is I saw people who lied so often, they have no conscience, it’s become completely worthless. We’re seeing that in the House, we’re seeing that in the Senate,” said Gohmert.
“When it came down to the Articles of Impeachment, there is no crime. It’s pretty outrageous,” he added.
