Border Czar Tom Homan stopped by Thursday night’s Hannity to discuss the latest attacks from Democrats against the DHS, ‘Alligator Alcatraz,’ and a new detention facility in Indiana for illegal criminal migrants.
So, what’s Homan’s take on the left losing its mind?
“70% of everybody we arrest is a criminal,” Homan said. “The other 30% are national security threats … so the numbers are great, right?” Homan said.
“But now the left is saying they aren’t criminal enough,” Homan continued. “I saw a story the other day that said only 1% of deportees are murderers. Really? That’s the new level? I saw another story where they said that some only have DUIs — that’s a public safety threat, where 10,000 people a year die from DUIs.”
“We’ve removed a record number of public safety threats and national security threats under the Trump Administration. He’s keeping his promise to the American people and we’re making this country safer every day,” Homan said.
