HE’S OUT: Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper Quits 2020 Race for the White House

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.15.19

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper ended his run for the White House Thursday; saying he will “never stop believing that American can only move forward when we work together.”

“Today, I’m ending my campaign for president,” said Hickenlooper. “A little over six months ago, I announced my run for president. In almost every aspect, this journey has been more exciting and more rewarding than I ever imagined. Although, of course, I did imagine a very different conclusion.”

“People want to know what comes next for me. I’ve heard from so many Coloradans who want me to run for the United States Senate,” he added. “They remind me how much is at stake for our country. And our state.”

“I intend to give that some serious thought,” said the Governor.

Hickenlooper is the second Democrat to bow-out of the 2020 race. Rep. Eric Swalwell quit in early July.

“Being honest with ourselves, we had to look at how much money we were raising and where we were in the polls,” Swalwell said during a news conference at a union hall in Dublin, Calif. “We have to be honest about our candidacy.”

HE'S OUT: Eric Swalwell Becomes First Democrat to Drop Out of 2020 Presidential Race

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.08.19

Rep. Eric Swalwell abruptly dropped-out of the 2020 presidential race Monday afternoon; becoming the first Democrat to leave the crowded field heading into the second round of debates.

“California Rep. Eric Swalwell on Monday dropped out of the race for his party’s presidential nomination, becoming the first of what’s expected to be many Democrats to give up their presidential aspirations as the crowded field winnows down,” reports Fox News.

“Swalwell, who in recent polls failed to garner even one percent among primary and caucus voters, said he was abandoning his presidential run in favor of focusing on getting reelected to House of Representatives,” adds Fox.

“Being honest with ourselves, we had to look at how much money we were raising and where we were in the polls,” Swalwell said during a news conference at a union hall in Dublin, Calif. “We have to be honest about our candidacy.”

“Today ends our presidential campaign, but it is the beginning of a new opportunity in Congress,” he added.

BOB WHO? CNN Mocked for Completely Ignoring ‘Mueller’ During Debate, Forgets 2 YEARS of Coverage

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.31.19

CNN found themselves in hot-water Wednesday, with critics pointing-out the network failed to mention ‘Robert Mueller’ once during the entire presidential debate; conveniently ignoring more than two-years of non-stop coverage.

“The first installment of CNN’s two-night Democratic primary debate was slammed by critics before it even began. Then it concluded without a single mention of CNN’s longstanding narrative that blew up during former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony,” reports Fox News.

Mueller’s testimony before two House committees last week was largely considered a ‘disaster’ for Democrats and opponents of President Trump who hoped he would provide a path to impeachment. However, Mueller was oddly never mentioned throughout CNN’s debate and Russia was essentially an afterthought at the first gathering of 2020 hopefuls since the testimony,” adds Fox.

“CNN flounders now, they’ve no idea what the best anti-Trump message is, given the total meltdown of the Russia narrative, post-Mueller,” a CNN employee told Fox News on the condition of anonymity. “My internal read is honestly that they’re in despair. They so believed in a Mueller smoking gun. I think they’re slowly realizing that Trump wins again, and they almost can’t fathom that outcome.”

Presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway weighed-in last Friday on Robert Mueller’s disastrous testimony at the US Capitol; asking if the former special counsel ever bothered to read his own Russia report.

“I saw somebody who did not want be used and abused by people. I also saw somebody who -is not clear to me- was in charge of his own investigation or most of it. I saw a poll that said very few Americans have read the Mueller report… I’d like to know if that number includes Bob Mueller himself,” said Conway at the White House.

Despite Mueller’s bizarre testimony, House Democrats refuse to back-off their non-stop push to impeach the President.

“Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee said Friday they are proceeding with what they called an ‘impeachment investigation,’ as they insisted former Special Counsel Robert Mueller delivered damning testimony against President Trump in this week’s hearing despite concerns from many on the left that his appearance was faltering and broke little new ground,” reports Fox News.

“The House must have access to all evidence,” Rep. Jerrold Nadler said Friday. “We are exercising our constitutional authority. We are continuing the investigation of President Trump’s malfeasances, and we will do and consider what we have to consider including whether we should recommend Articles of Impeachment to the House. We may, we may not. It remains to be seen.”

“We are crossing the threshold,” Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, said. “When you think about the mode we were operating under before, it was an oversight. This is now crossing the threshold with this filing, and officially entering into an examination into whether or not to recommend articles of impeachment—I just want to make that point clear.”

“This is an impeachment investigation, on whether we should introduce articles of impeachment to Congress,” added failed presidential candidate Eric Swalwell.
