Comer locks down Hunter…
House Oversight Chair James Comer stopped by Thursday night’s Hannity to react to the news that, after months of dodging the committee, Hunter Biden has agreed to sit down for a deposition.
“We issued a new subpoena…and because we’ve done this investigation the right way, we’re getting everything we wanted,” Comer told Hannity. “We have a lot of questions and now he’s going to have to come in and sit down and answer specific questions about specific transactions, specific meetings…we’ll see what level of involvement Joe Biden was involved in these schemes.”
“Hunter Biden’s going to have an opportunity to defend his good name. And if he pleads the Fifth…I think the American people can assume this family has been on the take from our enemies around the world for a long time.”
House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan also shared a statement on Hunter Biden’s deposition.
“Hunter Biden will appear before our committees for a deposition on February 28, 2024. His deposition will come after several interviews with Biden family members and associates. We look forward to Hunter Biden’s testimony,” Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote in a statement.
