The annual Emmy Award show came under fire from both sides of the political aisle Tuesday after the event’s hosts openly mocked middle America; making an off-color ‘Jesus’ joke during the opening monologue.
Celebrities and religious Americans slammed the award ceremony after host Michael Che said the only “white people” who publicly “thank Jesus” are “Republicans and ex-crackheads.”
The fallout on social media was instantaneous, with users slamming Che and other presenters for their three-hour anti-Republican hate fest.

OUCH: Kellyanne Conway RIPS Hollywood Elites over Emmy Awards Disaster
Senior White House advisor Kellyanne Conway called-out liberal Hollywood elites for their three-hour long anti-Trump hate fest on Monday, saying the American people were “sick” of having their sporting events and awards shows turned into political lectures and left-wing rallies.
Conway was speaking with Fox News when she was asked to weigh-in on Sunday night’s Emmy Award show; an event that veered political within seconds.
“It did feel [like a Political rally.] I guess it’s sort of the sameness. They got plucked and polished and waxed and some of them didn’t eat for two months, and all for what? To sound the same?” said Trump’s senior aide.
“They have a right to speak, but if you’re America and you’re tuning in to watch your favorite actors and actresses and shows […] There is very little of that,” she added. “It’s between the Emmys, the Miss America pageant event was very politicized, our sports are very politicized, and it looks like the ratings are suffering. It looks like America is responding by tuning out.”
“They’re welcome to their opinion, but how does it really fit?” she asked.

PATHETIC: Here are the 34 Times President Trump Was Smeared at the Emmys
Sunday night’s anti-Trump hate fest, also known as the 2017 Emmy awards, reached new lows in both ratings and rhetoric, with liberal celebrities smearing the President at least 34 times throughout the three-hour long event.
Host Stephen Colbert went political in the first minute of the broadcast, saying the “world may be the worst we’ve ever seen” and joking that the President is “loved” by Nazis and other white supremacists.
The ceremony quickly went off the cliff soon after, with Hollywood activists viciously attacking the Commander-in-Chief throughout the evening.
The performers smeared the President as racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, and unfit for office, while comedian Kate McKinnon –who portrayed Hillary Clinton on SNL during the 2016 campaign- praised the former Secretary of State for her “grace and grit.”
