HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY: AOC Mocks Capitalism, Sarcastically Says ‘Real Great System We’ve Got Here’

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.25.20

Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ripped the American capitalist system ahead of Memorial Day Weekend; sarcastically stating “real great system we got here.”

“Really great system we got here. Can’t imagine why anyone would question how beneficial or sustainable it is for the working class,” posted AOC on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez -who routinely calls for massive tax hikes on most Americans- reportedly owes at least $2,000 for a “failed business venture” dating back seven years.

“The Democratic socialist congresswoman from The Bronx still hasn’t paid a 7-year-old tax bill leftover from a failed business venture,” reports the New York Post. “AOC had founded Brook Avenue Press, a publishing house that sought designers, artists and writers from urban areas to help paint The Bronx in a positive way in children’s stories, in 2012.”

“As the Post previously reported, public records show the state dissolved the company in October 2016. The state can make such a move when a business fails to pay corporate taxes or file a return,” adds the Post. “The state Tax Department then filed a warrant against her now-defunct business on July 6, 2017, over a $1,618.36 unpaid bill.”

“She just thinks she’s better than everyone else. Clearly, she’s worse,” said Hank Sheinkopf, spokesman for AOC’s chief June primary-race opponent, Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, to The Post.

“The congresswoman is still in the process of contesting the tax warrant. The business has been closed for several years now, and so we believe that the state Tax Department has continued to collect the franchise tax in error,” said Lauren Hitt, an AOC spokeswoman.

AOC on VIRUS: Disease Exposing American ‘Inequities’ That Are ‘Brushed Under the Rug’

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.04.20

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued to call for massive, structural change as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic Monday morning; saying the disease is exposing “inequities that we’ve been trying to brush under the rug.”

“What we’re really seeing is just this crisis really putting so much weight and expanding and really blowing up a lot of the inequities that we’ve been trying to brush under the rug for a very long time,” said AOC on social media.

Ocasio-Cortez bizarrely called-out “home-owners” on social media Wednesday; saying Coronavirus relief efforts should not “squeeze” people can’t afford to own land.

“It makes no sense that we are squeezing people that already cannot afford to purchase their own home for more money than a person who already owns land and is a land-owning member or a home-owning member of our economy,” said a video posted by the Congresswoman on Twitter.

AOC on VIRUS: Senate’s Bipartisan Coronavirus Relief Bill ‘Shameful!’… Nothing but ‘Crumbs’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.27.20

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her fierce opposition to the Senate’s bipartisan Coronavirus relief package Friday; calling the legislation “shameful” and “crumbs” for American families.

“Our community’s reality is this country’s future if we don’t do anything. Hospital workers do not have protective equipment. We don’t have the necessary ventilators. We have to go into this vote eyes wide open,” said Rep. Ocasio-Cortez on the House Floor.

“Shameful! The greed of that fight is wrong, for crumbs for our families, and the option that we have is to let them suffer with nothing or to allow this greed and billions of dollars which will be leveraged into trillions of dollars!” she screamed.
