President Donald Trump will address the nation on the tragic American Airlines collision Thursday afternoon. Trump is expected to emphasize the administration’s commitment to uncovering the cause of the collision and implementing measures to prevent future incidents.

Trump posted about the collision on TRUTH Social Thursday morning.

“I have been fully briefed on the terrible accident which just took place at Reagan National Airport. May God Bless their souls. Thank you for the incredible work being done by our first responders. I am monitoring the situation and will provide more details as they arise,” Trump wrote.
