HANNITY: Not Even Nadler Knows Why He’s Trying to Impeach the President

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.18.19

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Tuesday night, Sean slammed Rep. Jerrold Nadler for his “dog-and-pony show” hearings on impeaching President Trump; saying his “psycho show must go on” to appease liberal lawmakers.

“In case you haven’t heard, Nadler’s Judiciary Committee has started official impeachment proceedings against President Trump. For what? Nobody knows, not even he knows. It’s all one big political stunt surrounding a psychotic rage. There are no high-crimes, there are no misdemeanors. But Jerry’s psycho dog-and-pony show must go on,” said Hannity.

“He needs to appease the radical extreme base, if that means destroying the career of his colleagues in more moderate districts, he could care less… Nadler is terrified of the Squad,” he added.

Former Trump campaign associate Corey Lewandowski slammed Jerrold Nadler’s Judiciary Committee Tuesday; saying the Russia-Collusion narrative is the “greatest crime committed against the American people” in a generation.

“I think this fake Russia-Collusion narrative is the greatest crime committed against the American people in our generation, if not ever… Members of certain bodies refuse to accept election results,” said Lewandowski.

“If this had been done by a different President to a different party the same way it was done to Donald Trump, those people would already be thrown out of office and people would be in jail. But when you support Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, there’s a different set of rules,” he added.

President Trump praised Lewandowski’s comments on social media, writing “Such a beautiful Opening Statement by Corey Lewandowski! Thank you Corey!”

The House Judiciary Committee will hold its first official hearing on the impeachment of President Trump Tuesday; escalating Rep. Jerrold Nadler’s efforts to remove the Commander-in-Chief from office.

“Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s outspoken, loyal former campaign manager, is scheduled to appear Tuesday to discuss the report by former special counsel Robert Mueller. But it’s unlikely that Democrats will get much new information as they decide whether to draft articles of impeachment against the president,” reports the Associated Press.

“Excited about the opportunity to remind the American people today there was no collusion no obstruction,” said Lewandowski on social media. “There were lots of angry Democrats who tried to take down a duly elected President. Tune in. #Senate2020″

“The Judiciary panel is moving ahead, approving rules for impeachment hearings last week. Among those guidelines is allowing staff to question witnesses, as will happen for the first time with Lewandowski,” adds the AP.

CIVICS LESSON: Rep. Doug Collins SCHOOLS Judiciary Committee for Avoiding Duties to Harass Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.12.19

Rep. Doug Collins issued a harsh civics lesson to his Democratic colleagues Friday; slamming the House Judiciary Committee for avoiding their legislative duties to harass the President of the United States.

“We can stop this hearing right now… We’re just dragging this on. It’s not that you want to come to impeachment. If that’s what you want to do, we don’t need to discuss it. It’s a Constitutional right… Instead we come here today to have another ‘almost’ impeachment hearing,” said Rep. Collins.

“What are we not doing? Instead of this morning, when the Chairman and I have a bill on the floor that actually addresses the 9/11 fund; yesterday we spent this entire time arguing about subpoenas,” he added.

“Let’s start solving real issues instead of having theoretical college discussions on what Congress’s power is… It’s ridiculous,” said Collins.

House Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler unveiled his plan this week to issue dozens of subpoenas to those involved in Robert Mueller’s “No Collusion” final report; demanding Jeff Sessions, Michael Flynn, and Jared Kushner testify before Congress.

“House Judiciary Committee Democrats announced Tuesday that they plan to authorize subpoenas later this week for a dozen individuals connected to President Trump as part of the panel’s escalating probe into obstruction of justice, public corruption and other alleged abuses by the president,” reports Fox News.

“The individuals subject to fresh subpoena are: Sessions; Rosenstein; Kushner; former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn; former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Rick Dearborn; former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly; former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski; former White House aide Rob Porter; publisher of the National Enquirer David Pecker and chief content officer Dylan Howard; former Stormy Daniels lawyer Keith Davidson; and assistant attorney general for the criminal division Joseph Hunt,” adds Fox.

Republican Rep. Doug Collins slammed Nadler’s request, calling the move an attempt to “relitigate” the Mueller report.

“Today’s latest effort to relitigate the special counsel’s investigation remains unimpressive and unproductive. Mr. Mueller’s team issued more than 2,800 subpoenas before concluding that no Americans conspired with Russia. Even if Chairman Nadler still believes subpoenas are conversation starters, it’s hard to imagine this handful of subpoenas will do anything but reinforce the principal conclusions we’ve been able to read about for months,” Collins said in a statement.
