Zelenskyy had many chances…
During Monday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity reacted to recent developments in President Trump’s push to achieve peace between Russia and Ukraine and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s behavior in the wake of the Oval Office dust-up.
“The United States is pausing all military aid to Ukraine until the country makes a commitment to good faith peace negotiations,” Hannity reported. “Keep in mind, Zelenskyy has already been given many, many opportunities to team up on a peace deal with the U.S.”
Hannity reported on Zelenskyy’s recent claim that the end of the war in Ukraine is “very, very far away,” despite many parties being prepared to help broker peace.
“According to my numerous sources, Zelenskyy is now asking to come back to the White House and he wants to sign off on what he should have signed off on last week, and that is the rare-earth minerals agreement that would bind our countries together. But it’s not going to happen as long as he wants war in perpetuity.”
“Don’t forget — the rare-earth mineral deal would be just phase one of President Trump’s peace plan. The deal would put U.S. business interests on the ground in Ukraine, which itself would provide a significant deterrant to Vladimir Putin. It would also help Ukraine pay back the debt to the United States while also ensuring that U.S. funding continues and provide massive amounts of money that Ukraine will need to rebuild.”
“Phase two would be a cease-fire agreement. And phase three would be a negotiated settlement … Zelenskyy can’t even bring himself to sign off on phase one!” Hannity said.
Hannity also blasts fake news outlets reporting that the Oval Office meeting was an “ambush.”
