Another SOTU. Another Democratic Party belly flop.
Meanwhile, President Trump was on fire.
“Moments ago, President Trump wrapped up another patriotic State of the Union,” Hannity said, following the SOTU. “He championed our country and the achievements of you, the American people. But Democrats — they mostly sat on their hands.”
Hannity continued: “They didn’t cheer for the economy. They didn’t cheer for secure borders with zero illegal crossings. They didn’t cheer for record stock market gains or the progress on inflation that Donald Trump inherited. And most of the Democrats couldn’t cheer for the Gold Medal-winning USA Men’s Hockey team.”
“President Trump delivered a glowing speech highlighting the triumphs, the struggles, the bravery of so many American people,” Hannity continued.
But heartless Democrats, who have defined their platform by being anti-Trump on even the most common-sense wins, couldn’t bring themselves to cheer for some of these everyday Americans.
And then, the biggest Democrat fail of the night — refusing to stand and acknowledge that the job of the U.S. government is to protect Americans, not illegal immigrants.
“Not only did these Democrats refuse to stand up for the American people first, but Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib were visibly seething,” Hannity said.
