Iconic television star and famed comedian Bill Cosby was found guilty of sexual assault Thursday; shocking the courtroom after just 14 hours of juror deliberation.
Cosby was found guilty on three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault, charges which could bring a combined prison sentence of 30 years and $75,000 in penalties.
“Cosby’s new legal team, which was headed by famed Michael Jackson attorney Tom Mesereau, failed to prove Constand was ‘greedy’ and wanted to extort money out of Cosby. Cosby’s chief accuser explained in court that she was simply at the trial ‘for justice,’” writes Fox News.
45-year old Andrea Constand told the court that Cosby gave her three blue pills he referred to as “your friends” while the two were in private.
She believed the pills to be “herbal supplements” to help relieve aches and pains, but says she woke up hours later with the iconic comedian “violating her.”
A NEW LOW: Jimmy Kimmel VICIOUSLY MOCKS Melania Trump’s Accent
Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s war of words with President Trump reached a new low Monday night; with the liberal comic viciously mocking Melania Trump’s foreign accent during Easter festivities at the White House.
Kimmel slammed the First Lady for reading a children’s story to her guests on the White House lawn; telling his comedic sidekick that he too could be “First Lady of the United States.”
“I want to really thank the first lady, Melania, who has really done an incredible job,” said the President in a video clip, with Kimmel adding “Not a chance she did one thing to help set that up. There’s no — she didn’t dye eggs, she didn’t fill baskets. The only thing she’s been working on is an escape tunnel.”
The comedian then slammed Melania’s distinct accent, mocking the way she pronounced “This and that.”
“That’s the end,” Melania said as she finished the story.
“Of the world,” Kimmel added.

BLUE STATE BLUES: New York Leads LAWSUIT Against 'Unconstitutional' 2020 Census
New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is leading the charge of a “multi-state coalition” filing a lawsuit against the Trump administration this week; bizarrely claiming the inclusion of a “citizenship” question on the 2020 census somehow violates the US constitution.
“This is a blatant effort to undermine the census and to prevent the census bureau from carrying out its clear constitutional mandate,” Schneiderman said at a press conference, unveiling the lawsuit that was co-signed by nearly 20 other attorney generals and the US Conference of Mayors.
The issue was thrust into the national spotlight last week when the Commerce Department announced its decision to include the “citizenship” question on the upcoming census; prompting liberal lawmakers to question the Trump administration’s motives behind the move.
“It is not just undocumented people who would be afraid in this situation, anyone with a mixed status family or anyone who is concerned about the anti-immigrant animus, and courts repeatedly have found in cases that I have brought that this administration has an anti-immigrant animus, will be scared,” Schneiderman said.
“The Census is a fundamental part of our democracy, and we must encourage every person living in our country to participate, not put up barriers that prevent people from being counted,” said the Illinois Attorney General. “I am filing this lawsuit to ensure that immigrants in Illinois are represented fairly and accurately.”
