Why don’t Democrats know how to grill?
Over the weekend, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) posted — then deleted — a picture of himself grilling hamburgers in a horribly-staged photo op.
Schumer originally shared the picture on X with the following message:
“Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a backyard and for the first time we’re having a barbeque with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill!” Schumer tweeted. “Father’s Day Heaven!”
X users were quick to blast Schumer for seemingly having no idea how to grill.

“I get that you’re playing to the masses but literally no one puts cheese on a raw beef patty,” said Donald Trump Jr. “If you need help learning how to do basic grilling stuff let me know. Nice try relating though. 🙄 Fuc$&?g communists!!!”
Journalist Jordan Schachtel posted on X: “Chuck Schumer has been a politician for his entire life and has never held a real job. He also apparently has never used a grill. How can this man possibly relate to any of his constituents? He may as well be from a different planet.”
“Hard pass on the tapeworms there Wolfgang Puck…” one account commented, while another posted: “Chuck is making an E. coli with cheese.”
One X user likened Schumer’s grilling fail to a similar incident involving New York Governor Kathy Hochul.
