GRAHAM: Dems Treating Impeachment Like an ‘Open Bar Tab,’ It’s Time to ‘Cut Them Off’

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.24.19

Senator Lindsey Graham continued to throw more cold-water on the Democrats’ non-stop impeachment fantasy; saying it is time to “cut them off” and put the GOP back in control of the House of Representatives.

“It’s time for @SpeakerPelosi, who claimed impeachment was a national imperative, to fish or cut bait. Commit to sending the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate consistent with Constitutional obligations,” posted Graham on social media.

“Democrats are treating impeachment as an open bar tab. Time to cut them off, take their car keys away (put GOP in control of the House), and end this insanity,” he added.

DESPERATION: Nadler Demands ‘Grand Jury Material’ Regarding Mueller Report, Vows to ‘Investigate Trump’

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.26.19

Democratic chair Jerrold Nadler doubled-down on his anti-Trump crusade at a press conference Friday; vowing to obtain “grand jury material” at the heart of Robert Mueller’s Russia Probe.

“We are filing an application for the grand jury material underlying the Mueller report. That information is critically important for our ability to examine witnesses, including former WH Counsel Don McGahn, and to investigate the President’s misconduct,” said Nadler.

The New York Post Editorial Board blasted Rep. Jerrold Nadler’s Mueller hearing Wednesday; calling the entire spectacle a “waste of everyone’s time.”

“By all accounts, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler hoped that dragging in former special counsel Bob Mueller for a hearing would jump-start his drive to get going on impeachment. Oops: It was a total waste of time,” writes the Editorial Board. “Mueller made it clear long in advance that he didn’t want to testify, and wouldn’t talk about anything except what was in his report. He even got the Justice Department to issue a guidance instructing him to keep to his preferred limits.”

“What did we learn? Nothing. What’s the impact? Nothing. If Nadler was hoping to get Democrats and their voters energized about impeachment, he’ll surely be disappointed. And we’re no closer to knowing how much this long investigation relied on opposition research by Hillary Clinton and dirty tricks by intelligence operatives appalled by Donald Trump,” adds the Post.

Sen. Lindsey Graham weighed-in Wednesday afternoon on Robert Mueller’s “confusing and sad” testimony before Congress; calling his behavior “dangerous and ridiculous.”

“Wow. Robert Mueller changing the job of a prosecutor from proving someone ‘Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt’ to ‘Not being able to exonerate someone accused of a crime.’ Dangerous and ridiculous. Thus far Mueller completely contradicts what he told AG Barr about the reason not to proceed on the obstruction of justice. He told AG Barr that the decision not to proceed was not solely based on the OLC opinion but on complicated facts in the law. Mueller hearing becoming very confusing and sad,” posted Graham on social media.

FLASHBACK: Joe Biden Called Clinton Impeachment a ‘Partisan Lynching’ in 1998

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.23.19

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden apologized this week after footage surfaced of the former Vice President calling Bill Clinton’s impeachment a “partisan lynching” back in 1998.

“This wasn’t the right word to use and I’m sorry about that. Trump on the other hand chose his words deliberately today in his use of the word lynching and continues to stoke racial divides in this country daily,” posted Biden on social media.

Democrats pounced on President Trump Tuesday after he referred to liberal lawmakers’ efforts to remove him from office a “lynching.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham exploded on the Democrats’ “sham” impeachment investigation Tuesday; telling reporters on Capitol Hill the whole process is completely “Un-American.”

“This is a sham. This is a joke. I’m going to let the whole world know that if we were doing this to a Democratic president, you would be all over me right now… This is a lynching in every sense. This is un-American.”

President Trump spoke with Sean Hannity at the White House Monday afternoon; calling-out House Democrats’ for the veil of secrecy surrounding their latest impeachment inquiry and the Ukraine.

“We have tremendous support, we’ve got taxes, we’ve got regulations, the stock market. That’s in a fairly short period of time. We’re doing great, we’re beating everybody… We’ve done things that nobody else has done,” said the President.

“To me, ‘impeach’ is a very ugly word… To impeach over a letter like that. They don’t mention any of this anymore. What they’re doing now is something that’s never been done before. They don’t want the facts to come out. Republicans have no lawyers, we can’t question, we can’t do a thing,” he added.
