The Trump administration announced Tuesday its plans to “probe Google” over allegations the tech giant’s algorithms and search engine limit content created by prominent conservative and Republican voices.
The President warned the industry leader while speaking with reporters inside the Oval Office Tuesday, saying the company was “taking advantage” of people and was rapidly “treading on very troubled territory.”
“I think Google is really taking advantage of our people,” said the Commander-in-Chief. “Google, and Twitter and Facebook, they are really treading on very, very troubled territory, and they have to be careful. It’s not fair to large portions of the population.”
The President slammed the social platform on Twitter earlier this week, saying the search engine was “rigged” and that 96% of its results favored left-wing sources.
….results on “Trump News” are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous. Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good. They are controlling what we can & cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!
