GOOD DOG! President Trump Declassifies Image of Hero K9 that Hunted Down ISIS Mastermind

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.29.19

President Trump officially declassified the image -but not the name- of the hero dog that tracked down ISIS terror leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi; cornering him in a dead-end tunnel before he detonated his suicide vest.

“We have declassified a picture of the wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the Leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi!” posted Trump on Twitter.

Original Story: October 28, 2019

President Trump defended his decision to keep members of Congress in the dark on the successful raid that ultimately killed ISIS mastermind Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Monday; calling Rep. Adam Schiff a “known leaker.”

“The only thing is they were talking about why didn’t I give the information to Adam Schiff and his committee, and the answer is because I think Adam Schiff is the biggest leaker in Washington,” Trump said. “You know that, I know that, we all know that. I’ve watched Adam Schiff leak. He’s a corrupt politician. He’s a leaker like nobody has ever seen before.”

“I wanted to make sure this kept secret,” Trump said. “I don’t want to have people lost.”

“We’re thinking about it. … We may take certain parts of it and release it, yes,” said the President when asked if the public will be able to view footage of the raid.

BACKLASH: Washington Post Under Fire For Labeling ISIS Terror Leader ‘Austere Religious Scholar’

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.28.19

The Washington Post is facing a severe backlash this week after the national newspaper labeled ISIS mastermind Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi an “austere religious scholar” after US troops launched a raid in northern Syria that led to his death.

“President Donald Trump announced Sunday morning that al-Baghdadi was killed when he detonated a vest he was wearing after being cornered by U.S. forces on Saturday evening,” reports USA Today. “The Post article says that when al-Baghdadi first rose as a leader of ISIS, he was a relatively unheard of ‘austere religious scholar with wire-frame glasses and no known aptitude for fighting and killing.’”

The Post’s original headline after the news of al-Baghdadi’s death read “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, austere religious scholar at helm of Islamic State, dies at 48.”

The newspaper eventually altered the title to “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, extremist leader of Islamic State, dies at 48.”

“Regarding our al-Baghdadi obituary, the headline should never have read that way and we changed it quickly,” posted a spokesperson for the newspaper on social media.

“Every day The Washington Post uses harsher words against @realDonaldTrump than they do in writing about one of the world’s most evil terrorists. Yet we’re supposed to take them at face value. Let that sink in,” wrote GOP Rep. Steve Scalise on Twitter.
