GIULIANI: ‘De Blasio is a BUM, Useless, Horrible, Something Mentally Wrong with Him’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.08.20

Former Big Apple Mayor Rudy Giuliani slammed Bill de Blasio on ‘Hannity’ Thursday night; calling the New York City leader a “bum” who has totally lost control of violent protests in all five boroughs.

“What I have seen after day after day after day is without doubt a complete dereliction of duty on the part of the mayor, for sure,” Giuliani said.

“They arrested 650 people, and they’re all back on the streets,” Giuliani said. “That is absurd, hypocritical, ridiculously deceptive thing to do and a really dangerous thing to do. You got to be out of your mind — maybe the mayor is out of his mind. I don’t know. But why would you arrest people who just destroyed millions of dollars’ worth of property, 200 or 300 people in the hospital — why would you let them back out on the street?” asked the former Mayor.

“Unless there is something mentally wrong with you? And so, I imagine there is maybe something wrong with the mayor. The governor should remove him. This is not about Republican/Democrat. It’s about the lives of my fellow citizens who are frightened out of their minds,” he added.

BUSTED! Latest Suspect to Throw Water on Police Officers ARRESTED in New York City

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.01.19

The “tough guy” featured in a viral video spraying NYPD Officers with water was arrested in New York Thursday; with police bosses saying this type of behavior “will never be tolerated” in the Big Apple.

“The tough guy who confronted two NYPD traffic enforcement agents doing the job taxpayers want & expect them to do has been arrested. Brooklyn resident Steven Larosa, 35, is charged with Harassment and Obstructing Governmental Administration. Such behavior will never be tolerated,” posted Commissioner O’Neill on social media.

New York lawmakers introduced legislation this week that would make it a felony to douse Police Officers with water; a direct response after multiple videos went viral showing members of the NYPD attacked with buckets during the recent heatwave.

“This is disgraceful,” Assemblyman Mike LiPetri of Long Island said of the incidents. “The men and women in blue are people in our neighborhoods. Let us not forget that these officers took a sacred oath … We believe it is time that we return to a society that understands the fundamental belief in right versus wrong.”

President Trump weighed-in on the controversy last week, writing “We love our Law Enforcement Officers all around this great Country. What took place in NYC with water being tossed on NYPD officers was a total disgrace. It is time for @NYCMayor @BilldeBlasio to STAND UP for those who protect our lives and serve us all so well.”

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani blasted Bill de Blasio last Monday after footage emerged of local teens dousing NYPD officers with buckets of water; saying this “disrespect” for uniformed police never would have happened on his watch.

“This disrespect for the uniform in NYC is result of a Democrat-Progressive (Retrogressive)-Socialist Mayor. This is what happens with knee-jerk disrespect for police. It will only get worse until these Left wing idiots are defeated,” posted Giuliani on social media.

DE BLASIO ROCKED: Former NYPD Boss Slams ‘Disgraceful’ De Blasio’s Attitude Towards Police

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.29.19

Former NYPD Chief Louis Anemone slammed Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio Monday; calling the presidential hopeful’s attitude towards police “disgraceful” after footage emerged showing cops assaulted with water in recent weeks.

“He’s the chief executive of this city of New York, the largest city in this country. He has not taken the lead for security, for public security, and for supporting the police. He’s been behind, way behind,” Anemone said.

“He does not have their back. I firmly believe firmly that he does not have their back,” he added.

Footage shows separate incidents of people in Harlem using buckets to splash and dump water over uniformed officers, as the cops calmly walk away. De Blasio condemned the acts as ‘Completely unacceptable,’ and said, ‘We won’t tolerate this kind of disrespect.’ Still, former mayor Giuliani believes the 2020 presidential candidate is part of the problem,” reports Fox News.

“Our anti-cop lawmakers have gotten their wish: the NYPD is now frozen. It’s not the fault of these police officers. It’s the end result of the torrent of bad policies and anti-police rhetoric that has been streaming out of City Hall and Albany for years now,” said PBA President Patrick Lynch, adding, “Disorder controls the streets, and our elected leaders refuse to allow us to take them back.”
