Former Speaker of the House and Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich stopped by Hannity Tuesday night to discuss the “historic transformation” of the Democratic Party.
“You’re seeing a totally new coalition emerge that defines a Democratic Party that is really very different from the rest of America,” Gingrich said.
Gingrich continued: “You want males in women’s bathrooms? That’s about a 15% issue. You want teachers to be able to take care of 3rd and 4th graders on transgenderism? That’s about a 15% issue. The idea of having the government run grocery stores, as Mamdani has suggested? That would be distinctly a far-left, minority issue.”
Hannity asked Gingrich about the “cowardly silence of the left.”
“I think the energy, the money, people like George Soros who have been pouring money into these systems … the organized energy on the left is there. It’s militant. It’s aggressive. It’s hateful. And if you stand up against them, they’re going to savage you. They’re going to attack you. And they’re going to drag you out of public life,” Gingrich added.
“The old order doesn’t have the energy, the toughness, the vision … and the people who are emerging — the AOCs and the Mamdanis … that is the future.”
