FRIENDSHIP — BUT FAIRNESS, EH? Stephen Miller Talks Trump Admin's Approach to Canada [WATCH]

White House deputy chief for policy Stephen Miller stopped by Hannity Tuesday night to share some insights into President Trump’s approach to dealing with Canada.

“If you’re going to be a good ally, we should have free and fair trade — especially with Canada. They should protect their border. They should make their contributions to NATO,” Hannity said, teeing up Miller for a reaction.

“President Trump has opened up a completely new relationship with Canada — because of his strength and because of his diplomacy,” Miller said. “The Prime Minister of Canada finally talked about contributing their fair share to NATO’s defense. Finally meeting that minimum of that 2% benchmark and climbing up from there, so they’re not a free rider anymore.”

Miller continued, “He talked about achieving fair trade with the United States and the need to strike a fair trade deal with the United States, as President Trump has long asked for. He emphasized his deployment of troops and guards to the Canadian border at President Trump’s request to keep fentanyl out of the United States of America.”

“And President Trump kept emphasizing two words: we want friendship with Canada but we also insist upon fairness with Canada,” Miller added.

Miller also touches on the War in Ukraine and efforts to makr peace in the Middle East.
