French officials confirmed Monday their plans to deploy over 12,000 police officers to the streets of Paris for the nation’s New Year’s Eve celebrations; warning residents of a renewed wave of massive anti-Macron “Yellow Vest” demonstrations.
“Nearly 150,000 police are set to be on duty around France on New Year’s Eve when ‘yellow vest’ protesters have called for another round of anti-government demonstrations,” writes Yahoo News. “France remains on high alert due to the threat of terrorism, with the latest attack dating to December 11 when five people were killed by a gunman at a Christmas market in Strasbourg.”
“What can we expect? Disorder,” said Interior Minister Christophe Castaner. “What I see with the ‘yellow vests’ is a desire to be harmful, not to demonstrate.”

DEVELOPING: ‘Yellow Vest’ Movement Hits UK, Brexit Activists ‘SHUT DOWN’ Tower Bridge
The iconic ‘Yellow Vest’ demonstrations that have rocked the French capital for weeks spread to the United Kingdom Friday; where pro-Brexit activists shut down the world-famous Tower Bridge.
According to the Daily Mail, dozens of demonstrators took over three bridges in central London this week; demanding Theresa May’s government take action as negotiations with the European Union appear to have completely stalled in recent days.

BAD TIMING: Gore Launches 24-Hour ‘Climate Tax’ Campaign as France REVOLTS Against ‘Climate Tax’
Former Vice President and climate-change crusader Al Gore kicked off his 24-hour ‘reality’ broadcast promoting a global ‘climate tax’ this week; perfectly coinciding with the worst riots France has seen in over 50 years over Emmanuel Macron’s proposed ‘climate tax.’
“All of it is felt most keenly by the world’s most disadvantaged people,” said Gore Tuesday, “It’s up to each and everyone of us now to demand that our leaders do more.”

“A dramatic shift is underway, but it must be accelerated by new policies,” Gore added.
French President Emmanuel Macron partially caved to the “Yellow Vest” protesters this week; announcing a six-month suspension of his so-called ‘fuel tax’ as gasoline supplies dwindle throughout the country.
