As publishers discontinue at least six books from beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss a recent tweet from 2017 surfaced on social media showing then-Senator Kamala Harris wishing the literary hero a “happy birthday.”
“Happy birthday, #DrSeuss! “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go,” posted Harris on social media.

The decision made this week from the estate of Dr. Seuss to cease publishing at least six books for “racist” content prompted Universal Studios in Orlando to “evaluate” attractions and park rides inspired by the beloved children’s author.
“Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprise’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families,” the statement read.

“Universal said it’s evaluating the in-park experiences in that area but visitors will still be able to enjoy Seuss Landing,” reports Spectrum News.
“Seuss Landing continues to be very popular with our guests and we value our relationship with Seuss Enterprises,” a Universal spokesperson said in a statement. “We’ve removed the books from our shelves as they have asked and we’ll be evaluating our in-park experience too. But our guests can plan on continuing to be able to enjoy their favorite experiences at Seuss Landing.”

2020 VISION? Kamala Harris Stumps in Iowa, Slams GOP ‘Vision’ for America
Outspoken Senator and potential 2020 challenger Kamala Harris hit the campaign trail in Iowa this week; slamming her Republican colleagues and sparking speculation surrounding her potential run for the White House.
Harris was speaking to hundreds of supporters inside a packed community college in Des Moines when she unloaded on President Trump and the GOP; saying “We need to have a better vision for this country.”
“This is the moment in time that is requiring us to fight for the best of who we are,” Harris said Monday. “And the stakes are high. I don’t have to tell you what’s happening here in Iowa, where they’re privatizing Medicare, where we know that just in a very short period of time, people’s premiums are going to go up at least threefold.”
“We are better than this,” she added.
Harris’ visit comes months after fellow Democratic Senator and presidential hopeful Cory Booker visited Iowa.
“She’s got ground to make up, but she’s not very far behind yet,” said a member of the Iowa Democratic National Committee.

????????: Biden Says If Kamala and I Disagree, ‘I’ll Develop Some Disease and Resign’
????????: If Kamala and I Disagree, ‘I’ll Develop Some Disease and Resign’
Joe Biden confused millions of viewers during his first joint interview with Sen. Kamala Harris on CNN Thursday night; telling a bizarre anecdote about “developing a disease and resigning” should the two disagree on moral principles.
“The thing, we are simpatico on our philosophy of government. We are simpatico on how we want to approach these issues. When we disagree, it’ll be just like Barack and I did… Like I told Barack, if I reach something where there’s a fundamental disagreement we have on a moral principle, I’ll develop some disease and say I have to resign,” said Biden.
“We’ve discussed at length our views on foreign policy,” he added.
