Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich called-out disgraced FBI officials James Comey and Andrew McCabe Wednesday; blasting the bureau bosses for their outright “dishonesty” and self-serving, reckless behavior.
“It is very sobering and a little frightening to realize that the top two officials of the Federal Bureau of Investigation were dishonest,” writes Gingrich.
“You don’t have to believe me, you only need to read three sources: the memorandum written by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that led to Comey’s firing, the Office of the Inspector General’s report investigating McCabe’s actions as deputy director and Stewart Baker’s recent article, “The Low Tragedy of Andrew McCabe,’” he adds.
The former Speaker goes on to highlight Comey and McCabe’s sordid history of troubling behavior; detailing the “serious mistakes” made by the FBI officials throughout the 2016 investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified material.

Gingrich on Hannity: News Media in a 'Frenzy' to Overthrow Trump
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich stopped by ‘Hannity’ on Tuesday night to discuss President Trump’s recent press conference regarding the deadly protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, saying the President is facing a “frenzied” news media obsessed with taking down his administration.
“I watched the media that is just so openly hostile to him. It doesn’t seem to matter anymore what he’s going to say or do and you have made this point many times on this program,” said Hannity.
“If every American has their shot at the American dream, does that help race relations in America?” he asked.
“There is an entire block of people who want to use racism and left-wing ideology to deliberately, consciously split us. Many of these are in the elite media, they’re doing it quite deliberately, and we have to have the guts to take them head on,” said the former Speaker.
“We have to point out that it was not President Trump’s policies that led four thousand people to get shot in Chicago last year. It wasn’t President Trump’s policies that have made Baltimore a nightmare in terms of people getting killed,” added Newt. “What you’ve had is a decay in this country under left-wing policies that has led to dramatic depth of poverty, dramatic collapse of the law in some inner cities, and a sense of helplessness.”
“The reason Obama was consistently wrong when he would get into these kind of problems, is he took the view of the elite media, which is just wrong,” said Gingrich. “The elite media is just in a frenzy to undermine him and if possible drive him from office in what really is the news media coup against the people of the United States.”

Gingrich on Hannity: Trump Keeps 'Grinding Forward' Despite Witch Hunt
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich spoke with Sean on ‘Hannity’ Thursday night, slamming special counsel Robert Mueller’s never-ending investigation of the President, but adding that despite all the obstacles, the “Trump system” keeps “grinding forward.”
“All of the noise, all of the deep state leaks, when did we ever see a President’s conversations with Prime Ministers and Presidents ever become public like this? All of that noise created what Mueller did today,” said Sean. “The goal to stop the President’s agenda is working, this is a real threat.”
“Well I think it’s very real and has been all along. The Mueller threat is probably the most deadly,” responded Gingrich. “I regard the Mueller example as the deep state at its very worst and it worries me a great deal.”
The Speaker applauded the President, saying Trump was “making progress every week” despite the forces determined to take down his administration.
“Trump somehow just keeps grinding forward. He’s making progress every week, he’s getting things done,” said Newt. “Despite everything, I think the Trump system is gradually beginning to really work.”
“I cannot believe the double-standard. I know I should be used to it, but this is beyond the pale of anything I’ve seen,” said Hannity.
“This is not a double-standard, this is a very simple standard,” the Speaker responded. “If you’re the left, you hate Donald J. Trump. If you’re the left, anything you can do to undermine him is ok. And if you’re the left, you automatically ignore scandals no matter how big.”
