According to a New York Post report, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley will announce she is suspending her campaign for the White House; she only won a single Super Tuesday state.
From The New York Post:
The former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador is expected to formally drop out of the race during a press conference at 10 a.m. Wednesday in her home state of South Carolina, according to sources familiar with the decision.
She will not endorse former President Donald Trump but will encourage him to earn the support of those who had backed her, the sources said.
The expected announcement — first revealed by the Wall Street Journal — comes after Haley was only victorious in Vermont during Super Tuesday’s primaries, with Trump beating her in 14 other states.
She made no public appearances after spending the night huddled with staff watching returns near her home.
