DOUBLE STANDARD: Trump Calls Out ‘CRAZED’ MEDIA Over Putin-Call Hysteria

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.21.18

President Trump slammed the mainstream media and liberal legislators Wednesday for their outright dishonesty regarding Trump’s recent conversation with Vladimir Putin; pointing out former President Obama made an identical phone call in 2012.

The President vented his frustration on social media; blasting the press’s breathless coverage of his “congratulatory” message to Putin following his re-election this week, saying “The Fake News Media is crazed because they wanted me to excoriate him.”

“I called President Putin of Russia to congratulate him on his election victory (in past, Obama called him also). The Fake News Media is crazed because they wanted me to excoriate him. They are wrong! Getting along with Russia (and others) is a good thing, not a bad thing,” tweeted Trump.

“They can help solve problems with North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, ISIS, Iran and even the coming Arms Race. Bush tried to get along, but didn’t have the ‘smarts.”’ Obama and Clinton tried, but didn’t have the energy or chemistry (remember RESET). PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!” he added.

CYBER WAR: Trump Admin Accuses RUSSIA of ATTACKING American Energy Grid

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.16.18

The Trump administration publicly accused the Russian government of orchestrating coordinated attacks against the American energy grid Thursday; marking the first time the US government has blamed the Kremlin for intentionally hacking the United States’ infrastructure.

According to Reuters, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI believe Moscow was behind a sophisticated cyber-attack as far back as March 2016; issuing a security alert that detailed Putin’s push to hack America’s water, nuclear, commercial, manufacturing, energy, travel sectors.

“The Department of Homeland Security and FBI said in the alert that a ‘multi-stage intrusion campaign by Russian government cyber actors’ had targeted the networks of small commercial facilities ‘where they staged malware, conducted spear phishing, and gained remote access into energy sector networks.’ The alert did not name facilities or companies targeted,” writes Reuters.

The development comes hours after the Trump administration sanctioned 19 Russian nationals for their role in meddling during the 2016 presidential election and days after the Kremlin assassinated a former spy on British soil.

FIREWORKS: Huckabee Sanders SCORCHES ABC News Over Real ‘Russian Collusion’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.20.18

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called-out ABC News’ Jonathan Karl during her daily press briefing Tuesday; reminding the reporter that “everybody wants to blame Trump” for Russian interference but it actually occurred “under the Obama administration.”

Sanders was responding to Karl’s question surrounding the President’s fiery tweets over the weekend; where he urged the FBI to refocus their efforts as the Russian-Trump collusion narrative continues to crash and burn.

“Did he ‘mistweet’ when he said that? Because he’s pretty direct,” asked the ABC reporter.

“He’s making the point that we would like the FBI to not be focused on something that is clearly a hoax in terms of investigating the Trump campaign,” responded the Press Secretary.

“Look, just last week the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen met with a number of relevant stakeholders,” Sanders fired-back. “They are discussing this process and going through and looking every single day at the best ways going forward.”

“Everybody wants to blame this on the Trump Administration. Let’s not forget that this happened under the Obama Administration,” she added.
