Things got a little uncomfortable during Tuesday’s White House press briefing when Fox News’ Peter Doocy confronted press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre with her own Tweets; the interaction came up while discussing President Biden’s recent attacks on MAGA Republicans.
Doocy: “You tweeted in 2016 that Trump stole an election.”
Jean-Pierre: “I knew this was coming.”
Doocy: “If denying election results is extreme now, why wasn’t it then?”
Jean-Pierre: “That comparison that you made is just ridiculous.”
KJP goes on to try and scramble out of it, but the hypocrisy is pretty clear.
