DOJ PROBES BLM! Bondi & Co. Investigating Fraud Within Black Lives Matter Movement: Report

BLM’s billions are now under the federal microscope.

According to a report from the Associated Press, the Justice Department is reportedly investigating claims that leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement defrauded donors out of tens of millions of dollars raised during the 2020 protests over the death of George Floyd.

According to the AP, subpoenas and at least one search warrant have been issued in recent weeks as part of the probe into Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. and other affiliated groups behind the nationwide demonstrations.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, led by prosecutor Bill Essayli, is said to be spearheading the investigation.

Essayli, a former Republican assemblyman and private attorney in California, has previously described BLM as a “radical organization.”

Multiple sources told the outlet the probe was originally launched under the Biden administration but has intensified since President Trump took office.

It remains unclear whether criminal charges are imminent in connection with the fraud allegations that have dogged the movement for years.
