DEVELOPING: Ilhan Omar Defends 9/11 Comments, Says Dan Crenshaw ‘Inciting’ Violence Against Her
Rep. Ilhan Omar defended her previous comments regarding the September 11 terror attacks Wednesday while directly accusing Rep. Dan Crenshaw of “inciting” violence against her.
“This is dangerous incitement, given the death threats I face. I hope leaders of both parties will join me in condemning it,” posted Omar on social media. “My love and commitment to our country and that of my colleagues should never be in question. We are ALL Americans!”
Omar found herself in hot-water this week after she bizarrely referred to the devastating terror attacks that claimed the lives of thousands of Americans as “some people” who “did something.”
Crenshaw blasted her comments on social media, posting “First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something.'”

Rep. Ilhan Omar found herself at the center of another national controversy this week after footage emerged of the freshman Democrat referring to the devastating 9/11 terror attacks as “some people” who “did something.”
“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognize that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” said Omar while speaking with supporters.
“First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something,’” wrote Rep. Dan Crenshaw on social media.
UNHINGED: AOC Criticizes US Response to 9/11 Terror Attacks, Supports ‘Non-Intervention’
Embattled Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued to ruffle feathers in her own party this week; bizarrely criticizing the United States’ response to the 9/11 terror attacks that claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 Americans.
CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Cortez to clarify her recent comments regarding the War in Afghanistan Tuesday night; asking “Congresswoman, could you please explain more about what you think the US should have done post-9/11 regarding Afghanistan?”
“I think that our decision to enter unlimited engagement in Afghanistan, particularly through the AUMF + Congress’ abdication of power + decision-making w/ passage of the AUMF, was a mistake,” said Cortez. “Other options: targeting the network itself, limited engagement, non-intervention.”
