posted by Hannity Staff - 2.25.19

The American Air Force launched a devastating airstrike against dozens of al-Shabab terrorists in Somalia Sunday; killing at least 35 members of the organization and injuring more as the group traveled in a remote rural area.

“The United States military says it has killed 35 fighters from the al-Shabab extremist group with an airstrike in central Somalia, not far from the Ethiopian border,” reports Fox News.

“In a statement Monday, the U.S. military command for the African continent said the airstrike took place on Sunday about 23 miles east of Beledweyne in the Hiran region and targeted the fighters as they were traveling in a rural area,” adds the article.

The Trump administration has ratcheted up the American response to the terror organization in recent months; severely damaging the largest network operating in Africa and responsible for countless attacks.

BREAKING: American Airstrikes Kill 62 ‘Islamist Extremists’ in Somalia

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.17.18

The United States military confirmed Monday that multiple air strikes have killed at least 62 “extremists” from the Islamist al-Shabab terror organization over the weekend; saying the operation was intended to deny the group “safe havens” in Somalia.

According to the BBC, four airstrikes on Saturday killed 34 fighters while two airstrikes on Sunday killed an additional 28.

“Alongside our Somali and international partners, we are committed to preventing al-Shabab from taking advantage of safe havens from which they can build capacity and attack the people of Somalia,” the US Africa Command said.

The strikes were launched from an American Air Force base in nearby Djibouti.

“The strike has neutralized an imminent attack,” said one Somali government official.

REPORT: Video Shows Rep. Omar Saying Terrorism Caused by US ‘Involvement’ in Global ‘Affairs’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.04.19

New footage surfaced on social media this week that showed Rep. Ilhan Omar blaming a 2013 Kenyan terror-attack on American ‘involvement’ in the region; saying “Usually most people want to not look internal and see what their actions that makes another react.”

“Omar made the comments during an obscure local television appearance just weeks after four armed al-Shabab jihadists stormed the Westgate mall in Nairobi in 2013, killing nearly 70 people and wounding 200,” reports Fox News.

“What you’re insinuating is what nobody wants to face. Nobody wants to face how the actions of the other people that are involved in the world have contributed to the rise of the radicalization and the rise of terrorist acts,” said Omar.

“Nobody wants to take accountability of how these are byproducts of the actions of our involvement in other people’s affairs,” she added.
