Late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel is set to headline a high-dollar political fundraiser in Los Angeles for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), according to an event invitation shared publicly this week. But the self-proclaimed party of the people, equality and the underserved certainly have no time for the little people who can’t afford a twenty-five thousand dollar meal.

The fundraiser features several donation tiers, with a minimum contribution of $25,000 required to attend. Higher levels include the $44,300 “Leader’s Circle,” an “Event Chair” option priced at $100,000, and a $310,100 tier allowing donors to identify themselves as part of the “Jeffries 300.” The invitation does not explain what the “300” designation signifies.

The fundraiser, scheduled for the evening of March 10, was revealed after MS NOW contributor Teddy Schleifer posted a screenshot of the invitation on Tuesday, reports Mediaite. The event positions Kimmel as a “Special Guest,” alongside prominent Democratic leaders and donors; the party’s efforts to leverage celebrity appeal as it seeks to regain control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

According to the invitation, Kimmel will share the spotlight with Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi of California and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York. The host committee also includes television producer Shonda Rhimes, the creative force behind hit series such as Grey’s Anatomy and Bridgerton.

Kimmel’s participation is a public statement, as he has sparred with President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly criticized Kimmel and other late-night hosts such as Stephen Colbert. Trump has previously called for Kimmel to be fired and suggested potential intervention by the Federal Communications Commission.

The event comes at a critical moment for Democrats. To reclaim the House majority, the party needs 218 seats. Republicans currently hold 218 seats, Democrats hold 214, and three seats remain vacant, making fundraising and turnout efforts especially consequential heading into the next election cycle.
