Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi left audience members scratching their heads during a Town Hall event Tuesday; bizarrely saying “the constitution must win the next presidential election” and “the court of public opinion will know what’s right.”
Pelosi was speaking at Cornell University on a series of issues; most notably the Democratic primary battle to take-on President Trump in the months ahead.
“We have to make sure — this will sound political but we have to make sure that the Constitution wins the next presidential election. We can’t be worrying about well, how long is this going to take? Well, that will take as long as it does. And we will press the case so that in the court of public opinion people will know what is right. But we cannot accept a second term for Donald Trump if we are going to be faithful to our democracy and to the Constitution of the United States,” said Pelosi.
What's Wrong With Nancy? Pelosi Goes on Troubling Rant, Scares Reporters
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi held a bizarre, meandering press conference on Thursday, telling confused reporters that she understands “Wall Street” and that “the currency of the realm” is votes.
The House Minority Leader was speaking with journalists during her weekly address when she launched into her puzzling speech, veering wildly between issues such as DACA, community health centers, Wall Street, the debt ceiling, and Medicare.
“Is this more on the subject than you want to know? Stop me if it is, ok?” Pelosi asked the audience.
“As an appropriator, that’s the life I live. Intelligence and appropriations, you see, that’s my focus,” she stated. “The impression was given to us that we voted to lift the debt ceiling many times, many of us. We were kind of lectured on the importance of lifting the debt ceiling to the markets, and we know that. Yes, we know that. We’ve been lifting the debt ceiling, so if you have the votes.”
“Wall street? It’s wall street,” a confused Pelosi added. “Here the currency of the realm is the vote. You have the votes, no discussion necessary, you don’t have the votes, three months, so that’s how we got to that.”
“But, um, we have to get it passed,” said Nancy. “We have the omnibus bills, all the appropriation bills […] we have community health centers, we have extenders for Medicare, we have many items on the agenda.”
“So that is how that went,” she added.

ARMAGEDDON AGAIN: Pelosi Warns of a ‘CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS’ Over FISA Memo
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continued her all-out war against the House Intelligence Committee and President Trump Friday afternoon, telling reporters the President will spark a “constitutional crisis” should he use the recently released FISA memo to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
Pelosi addressed reporters just hours after Congressional leaders publicly disclosed the four-page document; showing the debunked ‘Trump Dossier’ was used by the FBI and DOJ to secure FISA warrants to spy on “at least one” senior Trump aide.
“With the memo… [Trump] has abdicated his responsibilities as Commander-in Chief to protect the American people by protecting our intelligence sources and the rest,” Pelosi told CBS News.
“If the President uses this fake, horrible release of distorted intelligence as an excuse to fire [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein or [special counsel Robert] Mueller, it could lead to a constitutional crisis.”
The House Minority Leader’s fiery rhetoric comes on the heels of her official statement regarding the memo, where she bizarrely referred to the de-classified material as a “bouquet” from President Trump to Vladimir Putin.
