COMING TOGETHER: Trumps, Obamas, Clintons Unite for President Bush's Funeral

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.05.18

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump sat beside the Obamas and Clintons during President George H.W. Bush’s funeral Wednesday; sending a strong message of national unity in celebrating the life of the 41st President of the United States.

President Trump and the First Lady exchanged pleasantries with their predecessors upon arriving at Washington National Cathedral; shaking hands as they were seated alongside the former presidents.

“After the national funeral service at the cathedral, Bush’s remains will be returned to Houston to lie in repose at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church before burial Thursday at his family plot on the presidential library grounds at Texas A&M University in College Station. His final resting place will be alongside Barbara Bush, his wife of 73 years who died in April, and Robin Bush, the daughter they lost to leukemia in 1953 at age 3,” writes the Associated Press.

HANNITY: Media Using President Bush’s Death to ‘Attack Trump’

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.04.18

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Monday night, Sean weighed-in on the mainstream media’s blatant hypocrisy regarding prominent conservatives; saying the press “viciously attacks” Republicans when they are alive, then applaud them “after people died.”

“This is all part of a pattern, isn’t it? The mainstream media viciously attacking any prominent Republican, all while providing cover for their friends in the Democratic party. Reagan was portrayed as a heartless monster, George Bush bashed for his speaking style,” said Hannity.

“Mitt Romney called a sexist because he wanted to hire women… All these attacks are completely disingenuous. When people died, all of sudden they like them. The mainstream media will seemingly forget about their nasty coverage,” he added.
