While climbing the stairs to Air Force One on Tuesday, President Joe Biden appeared to use his wife FLOTUS Dr. Jill Biden to steady himself. The Bidens are traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, to attend services for former US First Lady Rosalynn Carter.
Next, the Bidens will travel to Denver, Colorado for a campaign event.

In recent months, Biden aids have acknowledged the POTUS’ problem with staircases and have taken precautionary measures to prevent more trip-and-falls. Biden wears comfortable sneakers and takes the short stairs up to Air Force One. It’s all part of an internal effort jokingly referred to as “Operation Bubble Wrap.”
